Alipay’s protection

Your account’s protection is Alipay’s utmost priority. Protection is one of the most important thing for Alipay as more than 1 billion people use it annually.

Alipay uses a risk monitoring system called Real-time monitoring. Real-time monitoring makes sure that all payments are closely monitored 24 hours a day and 7 days a week which means that it monitors every transaction made.

Alipay also provides member protections such as;

Full Amount Reimbursement and 90 days payment protection

Full Amount Reimbursement gives you a refund of any unauthorized transactions that were made with your Alipay account without your notice.

90 days payment protection is a protection area where you can file a claim for any unauthorised transactions within 90 days.

Even if you have a problem regarding Alipay, the Payment Security Team will handle it and respond within five business days.

You can also take some steps to ensure your account’s protection, they are:

  • Try to use a more complicated password. Ensure that the password has a minimum length of 10. Any password which is more than 10 characters is hard to crack. Also ensure that your password not only has letters or numbers, but also contains a combination of letters, numbers and special characters.
  • You should try to make payments using your mobile data or your wi-fi. Avoid trying to use public wi-fi as some hackers might try to hack your personal data. Also always lock your phone when you are not using it. This reduces the chance of hacking your phone.

How to get Alipay and start using it

Here are the steps to get Alipay and start using it :
